Your Career Path


You’ll be taken through our 20-week training programme across the full 360 recruitment life cycle. Our internal training plan is a mix of theory and practical-based sessions both in the classroom and on the sales floor.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building up a market.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your daily work ethic.

We work with our consultants to put together bespoke and agile road map for your career.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Developing your market.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Continuing to build your knowledge and key skills through our in-house training.
  • Continually displaying company core values in your work ethic.

A number of our employees reach a Senior level from between 6 to 12 months and from here they have the choice to become a mentor alongside their sales role; supporting and advising their own trainees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advanced development of your market.
  • Business development through establishing relationships with key clients.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

 

As a mentor your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching between one and two other consultants you junior.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

Principal is a level that is highly achievable within your first year at Opus. At this level you will also have the option to take on the responsibility of Team Leader to better prepare you for your next step.

As a Principal Consultant your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading from the front and setting an example in all aspects of sales excellence.
  • Training, coaching and guidance of those around you.
  • Business development – Establishing key client relationships.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

 

As a Team Leader your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and leading a team of two to four consultants.
  • Advising, supporting and guiding your team to success.
  • Hitting team set sales targets.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

Many of our trainees have reached the level of Managing Consultant well before 24 months with Opus. You can choose to take your Team Leader position to a Team Manager role or continue billing your way to the next rung of the Opus ladder.

As a Managing Consultant your responsibilities will include:

  • Displaying sales excellence at an industry recognised level.
  • Hitting advanced sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

As a Team Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of five to ten consultants, including Team Leaders.
  • Hiring and growing a team around you.
  • Hitting team set targets
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

At the level of Associate Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of circa15 consultants.
  • Producing one to two managerial reports on a regular basis.
  • Hitting team set targets.
  • Hitting your individually set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

As a Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Head of a multi-team division including 2+ managers.
  • Responsible for hitting divisional sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

As a Senior Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Regional or national responsibility for multiple sales teams.
  • Hitting regional or nationally set sales targets.
  • Displaying company core values in your work ethic.

As an Opus Group Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the implementing of strategies or sales excellence in multiple brands or international regions.
  • Responsible for managerial or director level subordinates.

As an Opus Senior Group Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the implementing of strategies or sales excellence in multiple brands or international regions.
  • Responsible for managerial or director level subordinates.
  • Responsible for company-wide communication of sales and business endeavours.
